The idea for this project was born from the union of friendships and skills with the aim of combining esthetism, architecture, art and entertainment.
At Q, our main goal is to focus above all on quality, be it the reception, bar, dining, music, artistic performances or DJ evenings.
The well-being of our clientele is of the utmost priority and at the heart of our project, like the Q in the heart of the concentric circles of our logo.
We hope that each and everyone of you will become part of the long story of Q
Christian Hennard
The great Hall and colonnades were probably a boathouse in the 18th century. The shores of the lake then reached the foot of the current facade. The construction of the magnificent Quai Perdonnet took place in the 1860s.
The boats used to unload their cargo of goods to neighbouring hotels. One of the most prestigious was the Monnet Hotel, built in 1842, later renamed Hotel des Trois Couronnes. The Hotel du Leman – building located to the rear of our Great Hall – is now a private building.
The terrace overlooking the great Hall was once a hanging garden offering residents a relaxing green area away from the whims of the Lake.
After the construction of the wharf, the great Hall became probably a hangar for carriages and horses for hotel’s guests. At the beginning of the 20th century, horse-drawn carriages made way for a hardware store, an art gallery and finally what will hopefully become your favorite club.
The restoration took more than 18 months of strenuous work, carried out under the supervision of our skilled builder Marco Paulo, who patiently revealed the arches, columns and corridor.
We decided to integrate the technical infrastructure underground, by confronting the problems inherent in the high waters of the lake, whose level is less than 80 cm below the floor of the great Hall. More than 300 m3 of rubble were cleared, dozens of tonnes of concrete sunk and hundreds of m2 of lime put on the walls, then covered with mineral paint not only in respect for the environment but also for acoustic reasons.
The challenge of installing a professional kitchen, a bar and a DJ booth in this monumental architecture was made in conjunction with my friend the sculptor Carles Valverde, who designed the kitchen paneling and certain pieces of furniture after having made a 3D model of the space.
A sincere thank you goes to all the artisans who participated in this construction for their genius and hard work.

A disc on a turntable, the letter Q from the Quai, a cocktail glass with a straw – symbol of entertainment and exhilaration, the ripples of a waterdrop freshly fallen into the quiet waters of Lake Geneva.
…These elements are part of the ingredients included in our logo. Looking at it closer you will also find in it the “so groovy” sounds of Dr Ze, and the reflection of a thousand circles, vaults and parabolas reflected in the beautiful architecture as well as the number of reflections and concentric attentions needed for your well-being with us.
« An incongruous idea, an inspired question… feel free to send us a mail. » Didier Jordan – Communication
If our kitchen has been designed to be observed by our honoured clientele, we want this kitchen to be a mirror of the perfumes of the World. The most diverse inspirations are combined to offer a Mediterranean menu with a touch of both Oriental and American flavours.
« Of all passions, the sole respectable one to me is gluttony » Geoffrey Dutt – Head Chef
Away from endless wine menus, we decided to focus on quality rather than quantity. Our wine cellar offers a selection of wines and grape varieties from Europe for which we have a preference and our sommelier has selected a representative from each significant region of the ancient world.
In addition to the wine list, each month the more adventurous of you will be able to discover a new cru from one of the World’s most exotic corners.
Julie Baron – sommelier
From Q-cocktails to classic and rare drinks
It was complex to select a range of drinks and spirits ranging from the classics to the most daring.
Our special selection of Mariage Frères teas and our 100% arabica coffee will delight any amateur of hot drinks.
A range of local and international beers will satisfy the most demanding palates and our Champagnes from Moet and Chandon will bring a touch of glamour to the exceptional moments spent between our walls.
It is worth mentioning that special care was given to the choice of liqueurs, whisky and exotic rum. Indeed, Jimmy searched the remote corners of the world to find unique and rare products that will delight you.
Finally, night owls and rhythm chasers will find their traditional favorites and long drinks together with special Q-cocktails,
« Always in moderation, but especially with passion… » Jimmy Suro – Manager
